If you know me even a little, you know that I love Pinterest marketing because I think that it is the most under-rated social media platform when it comes to driving traffic, leads, and sales.
Using Pinterest for my blog changed my life. And that is by no means an exaggeration!
It helped me to start my very own online business in less than 1.5 years of starting a new blog, and I’m so happy to share that a lot of my students have been receiving great results using my strategies.
Today, I’d like to share with you a case study of one of my students who has grown her traffic from Pinterest to 460K monthly page views in just few months after taking the course.

Let’s talk to Bridget Beury from Impulse4Adventure.
Tell us about you and your blog?

Hi! My name is Bridget. I started my blog about a year ago as a hobby and to document all of my travels and adventures.
I’m now looking to niche down to cover just my hometown area (Florida) and all of the outdoor adventures possible including kayaking, snorkeling, tubing, camping, and hiking as well as highlights some of the lesser-known small towns in the state.
Since I only do this part-time (only a few hours during the week) my growth has been slow and steady as I learn more about how this process works.
I’m hoping to put out more content and build my authority over this next year in hopes of driving more traffic to my site, build my email list (which is mostly non-existent-it’s a huge goal of mine), and hopefully learn how to make more money off of affiliates, ads, and even potentially selling merchandise (shirts, stickers, etc).
What was your goal before you started the course?
To learn how to use Pinterest and ultimately drive traffic to my site.
I was also looking for more information on using the Tailwind tool that I had previously bought, but didn’t feel like I was getting enough out of.
How was your experience with starting your Pinterest account and journey?
I started from zero and didn’t even have a Pinterest account until I made one for my blog. Before the course, I had made a few pins for each post, but didn’t know how to optimize them so that people would actually see them and want to click through. The course helped me figure out how to make the whole pinning process easy and fun! I still have a long way to go, but since the course I have been making 5 new pins a week and have seen my monthly views steadily climb and my blog traffic grow as well.
Did you achieve concrete results from taking the course?
Yes! I had realistically no views before this course (under 300 views a month of that) and only a handful of clicks through to my website.
With this course, I was able to learn how to create engaging pins that catch people’s attention.
I saw my blog traffic rise steadily and now Pinterest is my main source of traffic.
I’m currently at around 3500 sessions (~5000 page views) for my blog. My monthly viewers on Pinterest have also been steadily rising to around 231K monthly viewers.
[CORRECTION: Bridget is now at 10,000 monthly sessions and 460K reach on Pinterest]

What was your biggest takeaway from this experience?
Pinterest can be a game-changer because it’s essentially a search engine where people are looking for ideas!
Once you start to understand Pinterest and how to use it effectively and efficiently then it can turn into almost organic traffic that doesn’t require a ton of effort!
