Lie 1) You can learn digital marketing in a week and be profitable.
Umm, no you most likely won’t. Unless you come from an existing marketing background or a similar business model.
There is no way to actually skip the work or even the skills you need to accumulate inorder to be successful.
Lie 2) All you need is one course and you will become a millionaire.
Generally speaking a course can tell you in detail about a certain aspect of running a business.
But it cannot be the be-all or the end-all of what you need to learn.
You still need to learn MANY other skills to be successful in business – a lot of which aren’t even tangible ones but rather rely on reworking your mindset and patterns.
Lie 3) You don’t need an audience.
This one makes me wanna pull my hair out.
Look you don’t need 10000 subscribers but you do need a few hundred at the very least.
Why? Because conversion rate is a thing.
If 100 people see your sales page, on average 1-3 will be buyers.
So if you want the business to make more than a few sales, you’ll need to learn how to drive traffic OR build and audience online.
Lie 4) You only need one hour a day.
Look, if you have an existing audience + experience, you could potentially run a good business with an bour a day.
But if that’s not you, you’re gonna need a lot more than 1 hour a day.
I run a multi-7 figure business and even then I still need to do admin/team stuff or content for atleast 1-2 hours/day.
But when I started out it was more like 12-14 hours a day until I upleveled myself. And that is when I come from an economics and MBA background.
Lie 5) There’s only 1 business model that is the best one.
I call this bull
You can be successful ANY WHICH WAY YOU CHOOSE.
Don’t let anyone fool you into thinking otherwise.
