I built a $150k/month business
Focused on serving one type of customer
While I may be selling multiple digital products, they are all laser targeted towards a specific type of customer. This allows me to built trust and allow multiple ways for people to work with my business.
Doubled down on mentorship
I spent $20,000+ in 2022 just on coaching, courses and figuring out the exact skill sets I felt were missing in my business. And even though I didn’t see an instant ROI (nothing in life has an instant effect), this year I’m seeing the result of everything I worked on in 2022.
Only focused on platforms I love
There is a difference between forcing yourself to show up on social media vs finding a place where you like showing up. For me that has been short form video for the last year – but who knows if might change next year. The key is to find a format (blog, podcast, video) you enjoy creating and then showing up consistently on it.
Wasn’t afraid to test or pivot
As an entrepreneur, this is KEY. You can’t let your love for a product or niche hold you back if you see that no one wants what you’re selling. Be ready to pivot, create new digital products and test new strategies until you find what works.
Had resilience and faith
I’ve always known I’m building my dream business so I’m OKAY with things taking their own sweet time. If I have to do this for the next 20 years, what is the rush? If I can spend 4 years getting 2 master degrees and half my life in school just to get a job, why can’t I put 5 years into my business in learning and growing?
So many of us give up right before we hit something good. Don’t be that person. Keep pushing, keep learning and keep putting your dreams out there. You got this babe.
